Experienced Breeder
Hello there, we at Thompson & Thompson Home Grown Kennels breed American Bulldogs, Olde English Bulldogges, and American bullies.
We have been breeding our specific breeds starting in 2016, but we have a long history in breeding in several different aspects in farm animals.
All our dogs are raised in a healthy and loving environment.
Happy, Healthy Bloodline
At TTHGK, all of our dogs are maintained on a premium-quality performance chow, paired with targeted supplementation to support joint health, muscle development, digestive efficiency, and overall condition. This nutritional program allows our dogs to maintain optimal weight, muscle tone, and stamina while supporting long-term structural soundness and reproductive health.
Our breeding program focuses on highly selective and unique bloodlines combinations that are exclusive to TTHGK. We strategically linebreed and outcross where appropriate to preserve desired traits while maintaining genetic diversity. Our goal is to establish a consistent, recognizable phenotype defined by balanced structure, correct proportions, solid bone, proper head type, and stable temperament. Each generation is evaluated and selected to further solidify the bloodline and ensure predictability in both look and performance.
A Furever Friend
Our program produces versatile working-companion dogs. The American Bulldog lines we maintain exhibit strong guardian instincts, territorial awareness, and natural protective drive, making them dependable property and family watchdogs. The Olde English Bulldogge and American Bully lines are selectively bred for stable temperament, human engagement, and high companion value while still retaining substance and presence.
All of our dogs are raised with early socialization and exposure protocols to promote balanced temperaments. They interact well with children when properly introduced and always under supervision, as these are heavy-boned, high-mass dogs that may unintentionally overwhelm smaller kids. 🐾
Despite their size and working capability, they are extremely people-oriented and display strong pack bonding tendencies, often showing affectionate “velcro dog” behavior. They thrive in family environments and are known for being calm, close-contact companions that enjoy relaxing and snuggling with their owners. ❤️
